If your property is in Council Tax Band A-D, you are entitled to £150 back towards heating costs, whatever your age.

If you qualify and pay by Direct Debit, you’ll get it back automatically. If you live in an eligible property and you do not pay your council tax by direct debit, your local council will contact you from April to arrange a method for paying the rebate. You do not need to do anything in the meantime. But do keep an eye out for the letter.

It takes about 3 weeks to be paid after approval.
