Road closure?

5 December, 2023

Access to the village hall is from the Alton to Basingstoke A339 junction with the Medstead Road.

In the event of roadworks on the Medstead Road the road is normally closed to through traffic which is then diverted around ther village. Access to the village including the village hall is normally still possible.

Where are you?

is just half a mile from the main A339 Alton to Basingstoke road from where it is clearly sign-posted, so it is very easy to find. The village is two miles from Alton in Hampshire. Our postcode is GU34 4AQ.

How do we gain access to the hall for our event?

The Hall has electronic locks. We will issue you a 6 digit access code with your booking confirmation.

Please note:

  • The Main entrance is wheelchair friendly.
  • The Wellhouse has 2 steps a the entrance and a further step into the Wellhouse room.
  • For regular hirers we can issue a keyfob.
