National Theatre Live: Hay Fever

Hay Fever
by Noël Coward
directed by Emily Burns
Duration: TBC
Age rating:TBC
A disastrous weekend that will brighten up yours.
Judith Bliss has retired from life on the stage and she misses the applause. Idling away at the family’s country home, the rest of the Blisses are too self-absorbed to be a good audience. So Judith invites a young fan down for the weekend. But unbeknownst to her, each of the Blisses has a guest of their own arriving at the very same time.
Emmy and Tony winner Christine Baranski (The Good Wife; Mamma Mia!) makes her West End debut alongside Academy Award nominee Richard E. Grant (Withnail & I; Saltburn) in Noël Coward’s irresistible comedy of very bad manners.
Emily Burns directs this new production, filmed live at Wyndham’s Theatre in London’s West End.
