Set in the village of Beech, with easy access from Alton, Basingstoke, Hampshire and Surrey, our oak-framed hall and its village green have featured in countless wedding albums.

Beech Village Hall was the perfect location for our wedding hand tying ceremony. We used the indoors for our ceremony with tea and cake, then took some stunning pictures on the lawn when the weather cleared. Parking was big enough and close by for all guests. Lovely venue. Beautiful setting, quiet area, great outdoor space. Booking was easy and efficient. Perfect for my photoshoot for promotional images for my fitness classes. We've used the hall for the last 2 birthday parties for my son. It's big enough for a bouncy castle, with plenty of space around for other activities and is clean and modern with great facilities (sound, lights, kitchen etc) and loads of free parking. The Wellhouse at the back of Beech Village Hall is a really beautiful, calming and relaxing space with different practitioners using it for all things health and wellbeing. Why couples choose Beech Village Hall

Your suppliers, your choices. Bring your own caterer, bar service, florist and photographer. No imposed packages, no corkage fees. We maintain a list of trusted local suppliers at beechvillage.org.uk/wedding-and-party-suppliers if you’d like a starting point.

A full weekend, included. Your hire runs from Friday evening through to Sunday midday. Time to decorate and brief your team on Friday, celebrate all day Saturday, and clear away by Sunday lunchtime without rushing.

Exceptional value. Our all-in package starts at £1,200 – a fraction of what a dedicated wedding venue would charge for a comparable day.

Other thoughts…

Ceremonies. The hall is licensed for wedding receptions, not civil ceremonies. Many couples marry earlier in the day at Alton Register Office and arrive at the hall for the reception in the early afternoon, it works beautifully within our Saturday start time.

Bar and alcohol. You can run your own bar, hire a local bar service, or combine both. If alcohol is to be sold, a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) is required, your bar supplier can handle this, or we can point you in the right direction.

On the day. As a community-run village hall, we don’t have a coordinator on site, which is why our pricing is so competitive. Many couples choose to hire a day-of coordinator to manage suppliers and timings. If you’d like suggestions, just ask.

Music. Our sound limiter is set at 95dB, comfortably accommodating a lively reception. All music must end by 22:30 and guests must leave by 23:00.
