Suntou Susso has played Glastonbury, WOMAD and Ronnie Scott’s. On 28 March, he’s playing for just 65 of us at Beech Village Hall. This is the kind of evening that reminds you why live music matters.

Suntou is a charismatic musician from The Gambia who plays a stunning 22-string instrument called a kora – think harp meets guitar, with a sound that’s utterly captivating. He weaves together infectious rhythms with jazz, funk and soul to create music that’s joyful, warm and impossible to sit still to. His performances are full of energy and life. You’ll find yourself smiling, swaying, and wondering why you don’t do this sort of thing more often.
